Here is what I have, it is the plain one with no light bar, but i am waiting for KC to release their roof rack when i add light bars. I am going to order some shackles once i figure out the size while i wait for a time that i am off and can install.

Its done!! Took me 12 hours.

    Two questions:
    1) where do i get a winch plate for the outside instead of the rollers?
    2) what is a good way to combat the little bit of front sag and heavy steering?

That front bumper is one of my options as well.

If you are keeping the cable for the winch then keep the rollers as well.

If you are going to switch to Synthetic Rope then change to a Fairlead.

I prefer a Synthetic Rope with Fairlead and a winch thimble from Factor 55 instead of a hook.

Will a fairlead not work with the standard cable, and why do you prefer sunthetic?

You have two options. Roller fairlead or hawed fairlead. Hawser fairlead is the solid steel or aluminum. Traditional think was to avoid synthetic on a hawse and stick with a roller due to the heat build up from friction against a hawse fairlead. I ran synthetic on a roller for many years and never ever reached an angle where it would have been “pinched” in the rollers.

Synthetic is much better all around. It’s lighter, easier to work, if it breaks it can be spilled together (Chinese finger cuffs), it doesn’t whip back when it snaps and it floats.

    Hawse fairlead

Thanks for all the anwsers, so i have seen there are hawyse faileads that are bilt for steel lines if i decide to stick with steel or convert, not sure there yet.

However for the added weight and heavy steering will an EMU standerd 3” lift with medium coils help solve the problem while still being good for off road?

I can't speak to the steering but that will definitely help with the sag you have on the front, who ever you buy the shocks from just tell they what weight you have already added to the rig so they can take that into account. I put EMU on the tacoma with soft riding struts and it rides really well. The wife T4R is still in the what she wants mode...

I believe several people install 5100's and they like that fitment, it depends on the budget you willing to pay for. Seems like several people install the Eibachs (sp) found them on Toytec after reading it in several threads.

Ive even heard with 5100s with OME coils dont know if it works, and i like the Toytec boss setup but that is expensive. The eibachs i looked at i dont think come with a medium duty coil.

Ya have only done some research on that in regards to the eibachs, will do some more as this may be the way I do the runner, but would prefer to just put the OME on there.

So far i am leaning to the OME i messaged a youtuber with a similar set up running the OME to see what his thoughts are, and if the ride is like pre bumper.

I would talk to a couple of different vendors to see what their thoughts are about it, this would give you a better understanding towards what your needs are.
