Anyone run wider and slightly taller tires than 285/70/17? I have 285/70/17 mud tires on my 2.5-3" lifted 5th gen 4runner now with about 1.5" more room against the uca(-22 offset). I did a BMC and front mud flap delete. Do you think I will be able to fit 33" 12.5 17 mud tires? Seems pretty roomy under there.

In case you are interested to look at A/Ts in size 34x10.5R17. 10.5 is 266.7mm wide.

Everything I’ve read seems to indicate that skinny does better than wide in most off road situations.
