This video has the details on building a 1gr-fe and it's open deck. The basic things are the pistons/sleeves, I think the crank is forged.

I didn't ProCharger mine to rock crawl faster or rip out tree stumps, I wanted to have a fighting chance at merging when loaded up and make it easier for my SO to drive on long trips.

The only thing I'd bring up is to consider how this will affect maintenance, don't worry about the blower maintenance it's self. Will you be able to fix a broken serpentine or blower belt on the trail? What is it in the way of that will require it to come off (injectors/plugs?).

My intercooler plumbing is a bit more involved than the mag so it takes additional time for certain things, but I can pull the head unit completely off in about 10 minutes and most of it's not that big of a deal.
