Ceramic coat

Anyone ceramic coat their new 4Runner? I live in Colorado and the chemicals they use on the roads here in the winter are harsh and over time, tend to make the chrome trim look like it has rusted. Pros, cons, suggestions?

Yes I do, stuff lasts a long time. In between I use a product called Reload 2.0. I get it on Amazon. I get the Mothers CMX ceramic spray coating at Walmart. I get the small square 2-pack of terry cloth applicator pads there too. A little goes along way. Two spray pumps on the applicator pad covers a 3’ X 3’ square, let it flash to a haze, maybe 1-2 minutes and wipe it off with a clean microfiber towel. Just make sure any wax is gone off the paint, I use a product called fresh start (citrus based) on Amazon. Say goodbye to waxing.
