    Anyone use these
    Roof Rack Rail Covers
on a factory roof rack? I have a little discoloration on these covers on my two vehicles. Seems like you can just pop covers off and maybe spray them or I’ve seen these kits that essentially go right over the existing roof rack covers…. These are not for the rails, but the actual covers.Seems to dress up the old ones….For those folks who have done this what did you do?

Without any detail, ie. color, or photos of said discoloration, it's hard to offer any advice. Those things are so simple to remove that painting them would be the obvious least expensive option. I can't see buying plastic covers to cover plastic covers, but that's just me.

They are fairly easy to pop off. Look for a YouTube video on adding factory rails. You’ll want a plastic trim tool so you don’t scratch things. They easily pop back on. Mine haven’t discolored on my 2016 Trail yet but if they do, I’d lean towards OEM replacements.
