    Hey, any help is appreciated!!
    2019 SR5
I installed a new head unit, Key was on when I plugged it in. It blew my radio fuses (easy fix) and install was successful. After I put it all back together, all the functions below the head unit have 0 power. No ac light, can not turn on any air, rear defroster button is dead

I've hunted for fuses, hoping someone can tell me what could I have blown to prevent that whole piece to have 0 power. I've exhausted my options and am desperately hoping for help on what I blew

Plug is plugged into the back of it securely

Is there a relay or something else that I could have popped?

Welcome. I'm going to skip the hand slapping of having the power on while doing this. Lol. Sounds like you learned the lesson the hard way like many of us have. Lol. I kid because we've all done it.

What i would do first is get a multi meter on the white plug in your dash and check for power. That will start you on your fuse journey.

If no power, check EVERY fuse under the dash. Some pull double duty workout being listed. After that check the fuses and relays under the hood, EVERY one including fusible links for piece of mind. Relays are harder since you need to swap them out with that is known to be good. But usually a relay won't cause the dash cluster not to have power.

    Good luck man.

Please, smack the shit outta me. Ive installed many head units, this was my greatest mistake. I will start with the multimeter and check the white wire. One question, how do I verify a relay is good?

That's the tricky part, since you are listening for the relay to click for power. I would check the resistence with the meter. If you ohm out (where it says "OL") the there's a short and needs to be replaced.

You'll see the relay and you'll just need to check the continuity from the 2 parallel posts to the outer single post, as in the schematic on the side.

Did you check both fuse boxes?

    It's a long list...

The relays are 100% fine. You won't be able to check them as the are directly soldered to the fuse block PCB, and you will need to literally break the casing to get to them. Just check your 10A ECU-IGN NO. 2 fuse located in the driver side cabin fuse box. That's what blew. The Radio and HVAC control share that fuse (See below).

I tried 100% of the engine fuse box. I went through everything on the driver side box that seemed like it was possible. I'm going to go through the rest this evening. Fingers crossed
