this is my 4R GARAGE today after the most cleaning I'm willing to do
I've joked I spend more time in here than in my bed. my wife could concur.

No garage here. Carport.



I can drive into the back yard for service on a concrete slab, but it is not covered. I do what I can where it sits if possible.

Haha yes - I have about 1-1/2ft between end of hitch skid to door.
And only a 1/2in roof clearance w/ jerry cans

 

I am a big fan of carports, provides all the protection that is critical and still easy to get things done without taking up house space.

Of the 2 4Rs we have, one lives in the garage and is seldom driven, the other one is an outdoor runner, I wish we can build a carport but it is impossible with all the redtape.

 

Covered up and tucked away for winter (no winter salt)

 

Next to the wife's cx5. Gotta back out a bit to get the kids in either car.

 

All my tools are behind the Taco. I try to keep these two "things" inside at all times, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

 

I’m collecting mods to add to my 4runner in a few weeks.

Unfortunately mine is crammed into a little corner of the garage with all my wife's tubs of silly decorations.

 

It would be a dream to hang around that garage, smell those engines, possibly watch maintenance. Thanks for sharing those pics.

That's my kind of a dream garage for the 4R. Thinking...which chopper do I want to take today?

 

Aviation maintenance has been my lifelong career. It started as a dream just as you said.

Helicopters will drain your wallet faster than you would believe. Crazy expensive. The Boeing is on a whole other level.

Alas, Covid and the politicians in San Francisco have caused all of the helicopters to be sold. I have been in awe and shocked at how a thriving charter and tour business has been taken down - and now gone. Iwent from taking care of five helicopters and three corporate jets down to just two corporate jets today. No one knows what the future brings...

 

600 sq. ft. heated garage My wife doesn't drive anymore so we're down to one car with lots of extra space in the garage

 

Sorry you have had to go through that. Yeah sadly much of the news from/about California is not positive.

 

Off all week for the holidays and doing the wife’s Acura. Spend a lot of time in the garage. Lol. Even more coming Feb 1st. Being retired I can work on the mods!!

 

Here’s mines. I don’t like a lot of things in garage. I like to keep thing simple, and uncluttered.

Thanks man! I'm getting too old for using jackstands and a creeper. The lift is sweet, it's a 10k Challenger made in the USA.
