Reading Spark Plugs - Oil (?) On Threads

    Took out three spark plugs and all three looked like this. Very clean from the top of the plug down to the threads. But the threads look like they have a bunch of oil on them. Inspected the coils and they all look new.

    Thoughts?

    ^Were the spark plug tubes clean? If so, then no problem.

    Those aren't OEM 4th gen plugs. If the spark plug tubes are clean, the previous owner may have oiled the threads on installation.
