Hi all. Im new here. My '08 4.7 has been using alot of fuel lately and has a slight vibration idling ( worse if give it hard acceleration) Found LT fuel trims way off. checked for vacuum leaks( new OEM vacuum hoses ) with smoke machine(no leaks), checked exhaust for leaks same way, found a manifold crack and donut gasket bad (both fixed). B2 S1 O2 found to be bad ( changed with Denso o2), Cleaned TB, MAF, changed plugs, air filter, took out injectors and cleaned them than ran acanthus of BG through the system. The ST trims are fluctuating normally and pretty even. LT is the issue. B1 S1 is steady at .08, b2 S1 is steady at 8.5. Whats weird is when i changed the olds plugs out ( they only had 5k on them) 1,3,5,7,2,8 had a beige color to the ceramic and 4,6 were spotless like they were just replaced. These numbers did not change after all this work was done. No codes, no misfires. What else could it be?

02 is usually cycling between .1 and 1V.

Is that a typo .08 and 8.5? If your meter doesn't respond fast enough it may not pick up the fluctuations.

It's not a mistake. The LT trims do not fluctuate like they should. ST trims on B1 and B2 fluctuate between -.05 to +.5. Scanner is not lying as I tested the same thing on my '06 4.7 and the trims were completely normal.

I don't think there is an egr valve on these. They have a VSV valve.
