I bought and installed their drivetrain skids this summer. Yeah…they’re beefy. Think MRAP. However, they are quite a commitment when it comes time for any maintainance that requires removal…fair warning. Each of the 4 panels requires “equipment” to get them on and off. I use a cheap HF transmission jack. But they are the only thing out there that offers coverage for the lower control arm frame mounts.

And, if you get their sliders, they physically tie into the skid plate system to make one seriously strong (but heavy!) overall protection package!

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like my cheap HP trans jack will get some additional use soon too. :curls:

Been waiting for the Westcott Designs to drop a sale so I can get some angled sliders. Have trail running boards now and it's hell, I never use them due to my height. Just an extra obstacle to avoid while getting into the car.

My girlfriend uses them cause she's short and I feel bad for getting rid of them. It's my car though and need to do what I feel is best.
