Noticed the rubber boots that cover the electrical from the door into the door jam are completely cracked and need replacing. Anyone know the official name of these or part number for 4th gen 2008?

I assume I'm going to have to take apart the doors to get a new one installed?

Correct, the door will have to com apart, as well as the interior molding for the door jamb, to be able to get to the wiring.

My boots have pretty much fallen apart and I have wrapped them in Tesa tape, cloth based electrical tape. I'm not sure the boots are available separately, it appears they are only available as part of the complete wiring harness for the doors.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. I definitely don't want to buy all new electrical and rip apart four doors to fix this. Time to order some of that tape you mentioned.
