Seems like it’s paint. Actually, looking at the what’s needed for setup, prep, and cleanup on their video instructions, it might be more like a por-15 type paint (super hard thick paint).

Pretty much any steel paint works well assuming the steel is correctly prepped. Steel prep is *a lot* of tedious work for a whole frame (car restoration levels of work).

If you are using it for touch up, I think any rattle-can rustoleum will do once you prep and clean the area.

I would not use it to protect your frame as a whole because the time involved to do it right would be ludicrous. And doing it wrong, especially with hard/thick paints, can cause worse rust on areas that have bonding failures and end up as pockets to trap water against the frame.

If you need to prevent rust on a good frame, use an oil or lanolin type coating instead. Most of the prep needed for that involves a garden hose and maybe a brush to get mud off. Even without cleaning, oil type coatings it would still protect things from rust.

Thanks for the reply. I should have maybe explained that I did use it on an antique frame and it came out with excellent results. I was just curious if anyone had actually used it, to see what their opinion was. It is like a paint but has more high solids than paint. It does not become super hard. Almost like a tar structure when done. It hasn't flaked or peeled of the frame I did 10 years ago. It sticks very well to metal. Anyway, Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it.
