As far as I know TRD Pro stuff are installed locally, not from Tahara factory. So I think this paint marks are used to see easily if they get loosen. My 4x4shop also use this paint when lift installed. When I go to inspection after 500 miles they can easily see if any of them get loosen.

As a owner it is nice to keep an eye on this. I noticed my crossbar ones were loosed since I check time to time. (Yes the roof rack also locally installed on TRD Pros)

Looks like you are a new owner. Highly suggest doing an alignment and wheel balance at a good shop. The Toyota USA workmanship is not as good in my experience with TRD Pro.

    Edit-

Forgot to mention about the badges. Yes, the badges also installed locally. TRD Pro come with no badges from factory.

Hello and a newbie here. Those marks are torque marks we use in production assembly that visually allows everyone to see that certain components have been properly tightened.

One color might mean the bolt/nut was torqued, and the other might mean the torque was subsequently checked by a different technician. In my company, screws are marked (only once though) for this reason.

cigarlover beat me to it lol.

Yeah, they got a lot of people excited with the new style, then "oops, no longer available, sorry"...

Torque marks, one mark is QA and the other is QC. At my outfit, quality assurance places one mark and quality control completes the X by making another mark after each entity checks the torque of the fastener.

Torque Seal is what you use to visually check if a fastener has moved.

Those Paint stripes are NOT Torque Stripe. A Torque stripe goes from Nut to the surface to show movement. They are ONLY on the nuts!! We use different colored Torque stripe in aviation on Bolts, Nuts & "B"Nuts to the lines, Fuel, Oil, Pneumatic for quick preflight visual.https://www.google.com/search?q=Tor...&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_jtR9ZfPhCqmB5OMPvISR6A0_48 He clearly uses WAY too much, we don't go from 1 side to the other either. P.S. They're on my 2023 & I asked Salesman right away & he had no clue why they were there either.

Funny how they say no longer available. My 23 came with the old style and my dealer had the new style wheels in stock (12 of them) so I bought them because I like the new style better. Oh, and mine came with those colored lines on the lug nuts too (first pic.).
