Please help, opinions requested

It only takes me 1.5 hrs to do… but to have go pay for another alignment is what’s eating me..,, then what if they are wrong, wait for a new set and do it all again. It’s not the time or even having to wrench on it…. It’s the crazy!!! Doing the same thing over and over

 

Funny thing, about a month ago decided to readjust the seat height on my dobinsons. I needed to remove them first. When I had everything disassembled on one side, I realized I could not lower my LCA low enough to allow clearance for me to remove the shock. Turns out, my new skidplates interfered with the LCA. Being new plates, I hadn’t even considered they would get in the way.

The funniest thing was that I had the jackstands on the skidplates holding the vehicle up, so that meant I had to reassemble everything, lower it, and remove almost the entire skidset, before taking out the shocks. Oh well lol.

Basically 4 hours wasted. Or put another way…4 hours to learn a lesson

I eventually got around to doing finishing the job, just not that day.

 

Dobinson springs are known to vary, they also settle. After installing mine i think my driverside was about .75" lower. I put a .25" level/top hat spacer in and called it good enough. 4runners are heavier on the driverside

 

Finally had some time to pull the coil out, measure it… was indeed out of spec in height and wire diameter… sent them the pic and WILL warranty it! What a pain in the butt! the free height is suppose to be 15.55” and coil dia is .7”.
