Few people I know really wanted the Gladiator, as did I. Everyone of them drove it and said the interior was so cheap they couldn't justify the purchase.

I finally got around to driving one as a rental. Holy mother of God what a POS that thing looks like from the inside. It's a tragedy.

You are comparing it to the 4Runner interior build quality. Toyota has also been putting out some crap lately. Highlanders and Siennas don't have the best interior out there. Though I do agree with you, Gladiator and Wrangler have cheap interiors.

I am not comparing it to anything. I don't know what the other people were comparing it to but none of them own toyotas.

This is why I never understood why some got their panties in a bunch when I call it the Wrangler pick-up truck... because it is. Only true difference is that it's stretched and it has a bed... so wow ok totally a WHOLE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VEHICLE :der:

They couldn't even bother to produce square back doors ffs

Everyone I know who wanted one all went through the same thing. Went to the dealer to test drive expecting to buy. Then came back home without one saying the interior was so terrible they couldn't bring themselves to spend 60k+ and have to look at that interior every time they drove it. It would have angered them each drive.
