Help, acceleration hesitation 98 4runner 4cyl rwd

    Wether its cold or warm it starts up just fine, idols just fine but when i go to give it gas it hesitates(sputters) im thinking fuel filter but could it be something else? Greatly appreciate any info

    Spark plugs and MAF are new, less than 1000 miles. Just FYI

    Any OBD codes? If none, my inclination will be either the fuel filter or the fuel sending unit.

    I dont have a scanner, so i haven't hooked it up yet, i but im going to tomorrow. Ill update after i do tomorrow evening

    yeah, sounds like a fuel starvation issue. Fuel filter, pump or regulator would be what I would suspect. You may want to get a fuel pressure test.
