Hello all, I found out lucking before I drove my 22 SR5P to the dealer that the rear defrost will not work if the back window is down a crack. My situation now is we have a puppy and he keeps wanting to sit in my lap, and he steps on the switch and the window goes down a crack. I don’t always notice it. I thought if there was a 3D piece I could drop on the opening so the switch can’t be pushed down by accident. Any other ideas would be welcome. Thank you in advance

Do you have the child safety switch in use?

I could try to make one and see how it works, but I don't think it will work just by looking how it is

Lock the windows but yeah worst position for that switch. It should be in the overhead console.

First off thank you for the considerate replies. Ya if there was a little plastic thing I could slide under the switch would be great.

I didn’t think the window lock switch worked on the back window. I will give that a try

Whip thank you! I never knew the window lock worked on that switch, it never dawned on me. I tried it and it works. Now when the puppy is in the truck I just have to lock the windows

Speaking for myself, I love dogs and ours is always in the truck when we go for an adventure.

For safety, you might want to consider a restraint for your pup! The sooner he/she gets used to it the better.

    Cheers
