Does anyone know of a reputable lift shop in the Austin, TX area? I’m at least 9 months away from doing anything, I’m doing a lot of research, etc. But I know I want it 1-2” higher and would love to find a good shop for it.

If I go the easy route, and the dealership will likely do it, I would go with the TRD Pro suspension which gets me that 1” - but there’s better out there for cheaper (love bilstein) but want a good shop.

    I’m a 2023 ORP

I believe @Texoma has a shop in Lago Vista. Not sure how active he is on here but seems pretty active over on TacomaWorld.

I believe @Texoma has retired from the mod game but, can supply you with an awesome tunning!

Some of the shops most people recommend are Round 2 Offroad and also a favorite of mine is AJ Yota shop (he specializes in LC's but believe he will make an exception!) Cheers

Just out of curiosity, is doing it yourself not an option? I was able to install my Eibach pro kit and Ironman UCA's in an afternoon in my garage. I did have @Texoma do my BMC (and he also found where I did a dumb and installed one of my spring perches upside down) but it was not a difficult install by any stretch. I watched a few videos to prepare, and downloaded the torque settings. The only thing I bought was spring compressors.

That being said, I've heard good things about Round 2 as well.

Check out Thor Offroad in Dripping Springs, TX (20-30 mins SW from downtown Austin). They do good work, and their sister shop is Whitlock auto for non-offroad vehicle general maintenance and repairs. Locally owned, good group of guys working there.

I was able to do it in my garage. Was work but definitely do able in a day. And took it to Toyota CP for the alignment. Their service dept is decent and really nice dudes there.

And yes, Toyota will sell and install the TRD lift to you, but don't know about buying a different manufacturer (Eibach, Dobinson, etc) and warrantying their install work. You'd have to call them and get that answer.
