Taking a trip up to the Smokies next week, looking for off-roading recommendations. Hurricane Creek and Horse Creek caught my eye on onX. Anyone have input on whether a stock 23 ORP with 265 ridge grapplers and rock rails would have trouble with either? Any other trail recommendations in the area, or would anyone be interested in meeting up for a ride on 11/23 or 11/24?

For anyone's future reference, yes a stock 4Runner can do Hurricane Creek in 4 high. Expect some big scratches on the bottom of the rear bumper with our low departure angle, and several hits to the underside and exhaust. A few spots you definitely have to take your time and choose the right line. The last rock obstacle definitely had me puckered tight! Can't go up the rock to the left, so you really need a spotter to stay on the right edge and clear it. That was the only obstacle that had me worried about flipping on the left or going off the right edge. Another 4Runner turned around and passed me going out because they bailed on that rock. Otherwise really fun ride! Don't take a squimish spouse as a passenger, she'll definitely divorce you if you take her on this trail. Lol
