Mod spilled their cereal this morning. I was pegged as an ahole to new folks, which is complete bs. I do own my FBI statement, however what I said was fact. I did hideout there for a bit before they found me. I could do it again, it’s just not worth it to me. I only did it to prove that I could get past them, and I did it for 2 months.

What is most annoying, and another reason I backdoored TW, was to see the MODs brag, I mean memorial page, about why I was banned. And there is no way to discuss the infraction. Once you piss off a MOD, they target you, I learned that with my RTT gripe.

I found another Tacoma forum that many other banned TWs hang out in, but don’t spend much time there.

Seems I posted something in the WTF thread that lived up to the thread title a little too much.

I'm not sure what the grace period is for creating a new account when your old one is perma'd. I've seen several people come back 6 months later without getting flagged.

 

Ya, my sense of humor has gotten me in trouble over there in the WTF.

 

It's just odd what's allowed and what's not.
Watching people getting buried alive in a mine collapse: Allowed
Watching a guy "accidently" trip and smash someone's head in with weights: Allowed
Watching someone shoot a homeless guy as the camera pans away: Not allowed (attempted murder is ok, successful murder isn't)

 

Ya, I used to get frustrated with what the mods would do, or participate in, then what they slam folks for. Again, I have not found the desire to find my way back there. Although I do miss the NE BS, and connecting with NE folks for trips and meetings.

Hi guys,

I'm from NY on the CT border, this thread seems more active than the NY one. I have a '24 TRD ORP in underground looking to lightly mod it and lightly off road it.

 

Nice, im in CT on the NY border. EVB is an awesome custom Mod place in Danbury if you need them.

 

Good to know, I wish there was more trails around us. I went into Cockaponsett in CT once had some little trails. Going to look into EVB only want a slight lift and maybe 275s

 

Yeah, they closed them all down a while back. I go to Upstate NY or ideally VA/WV for some good camping and off roading.

 

Grew up on Webb St. till 8yrs old. Dealer ship bought up all the houses on the 1 side of the road. Moved to N. Deering, Hennessey Dr. till 13, then Dad took Xfer W/Gov. to pa. Took my wife up there (can't believe it's gonna be 4 yrs this Columbus week this yr!!) Dad from Freeport & literally grew up W/LL Bean & had farm that's still there.(He got screwed out of it by his adopted "mom". Cousin has a Small eng/mower/power equip. shop next to farm. We stopped outside Providence RI for the "Cliff Walk" my wife had hear & research it so I agreed to it. then off to Webb st. to show her the water fall I used to play at. Man that Dealership ruined it by the water retention they put in & it's now full blown tourist trap. As A kid there was only rough trail to it, mow it's totally marked , small trees cut down & laid along a marked path, Press. treated bench & a bridge over the now semi wet rocks at the top. SO sad & disappointed what it has become. Such great memories climbing down & back to the top. Took her to pick some Maine Macintosh Apples in Windham we were a little late in the season BUT they wee still wicked good! Then showed her Lake Sebago (Natural lake) unlike man made reservoir's here in Pa. Got her a Italian sandwich for lunch vs Hoagies here in Pa. Then to Portland for dinner on Demilo's ship on the water front. (I don't eat seafood either) Next day showed her Old Orchard beach (This was on Columbus Day so Pier was closed for season. That's kind lame compared to OC Md. we go to. Then off to Bar Harbor. I wanted to go Left to Moose Head Lake to visit my Cousin's Wilson's on Moose Head Lake resort ( their son's now running) but she had the room planned for Bar harbor. Only day it rained/overcast the whole week!!Drove to Mt Washington Resort for 2 nites (Best pancakes I ever ate )& I have travelled all over USA, S. America, Caribbean. I had them 2 days in row! Took Cog to top & had one of the best days they had Unlimited visibility!!! The Pics are of my 2018 TRD OR btw. Great trip!! Wish I had more time to do some OR up there. Next time!

 

I went to a place on the RI order with some folks from mass a few months ago, looked to be decent, but most of them have built rigs and are not excited about that place. Got my basically stock run up something they call rock hill, that some of the lift tacos mildly struggled on. Convinced me to get a lift.
