    Has anyone gone through this before? Where did you take the pieces to (pawn, jewelers, online, etc.), how was your experience, and would you do it differently if you could?

    For example I'm interested in selling an engagement ring, bracelet bracelet with matching earrings, and a watch.

    No one is going to give you above what the gold/silver/diamond is worth unless you sell privately (or you just have a super unique big carat ring).

    I took 3 diamond rings I inherited to places and was shocked my highest offer was $450 for all of them.

    Yeah, from what I know...

    Pawn shop will offer 25-33% of what they think they can sell it for.

    Jeweler will give you going rate for the metal - even if the diamonds are good quality I don't think they typically add value for the jewels.

    Best bet is going to be private sale but also the biggest PITA

    Well you don’t have to sell. Every month we get little old lady’s or great grandpa that just get a loan to make it through the month then pick there stuff up.
