Put 60psi in your spare to eliminate TPMS light in cold weather or just having to check it. PDI does miss the spare most times because nobody wants to crank spare down. They leave for oil change guy if he does his job correctly. There's no reason you can't check air pressure with oil draining.

I'm incorrect. Pre delivery doesn't do that. Warranty should cover it if you have issue.

Those authorized vehicles only roads in interstate median are handy to. Don't need that if median isn't to wet or even if it is.

It's funny. Service writers don't really know anything about a car. Not all, but they are selling something the tech recommends usually. Everyone gets paid on commission and there's not much maintenance anymore. I don't think it's ethical looking at your truck and selling an alignment by calibrated eye.

Your right. Dealer probably doesn't new unless there's a complaint. I haven't seen an assembly line alignment process but being Toyota you would think coming out of a Lexus assembly plant It's done. It's probably basic production assembly alignment and dealer can get warranty work if there's a problem. I hate learning I have bad alignment when bad wear pattern starts showing.

You are correct but over simplifying. Sure there will be a variance from once time to the next, but very small amounts, it’s not going to be the difference of in or out of ape. Part of the process with development cars was that every single one required an alignment after being driven 620 miles (1,000 kilometers) and there was always something out of spec by that point. Our machine was always the latest and greatest from Hunter and calibrated every 90 days. Between being strapped down and jostling its way across the world for delivery and parts starts to wear in and settle, new cars need alignments. Before moving on to a different industry I did my own alignments on my own vehicles every oil change.

Plus if you actually read the prerequisites the alignment machine gives you, it will tell you the conditions it wants for a proper alignment (like a full tank of gas - the factory isn’t filling the, in fact you can’t ship overseas with anywhere near a full tank, they want it running on fumes).
