    2023 4Runner TRD ORP w/KDSS (Tires: Falken WP A/T3W P-Metric)
    None/Stock
It's shy of a month that I bought my first 4Runner - a 2023 TRD ORP w KDSS. Only change I have made on the first day is to trade in for Falken Wildpeak AT/3W tires in place of of stock Bridgestone. I am not sure how good the stock ones are, but they are not AT and I have extremely bad experience with Bridgetone stock tires on my other car. And it's the only mechanical change I plan to do to the stock configuration. I have been wanting to have this for my extensive adventure travels for a long long time. Have been driving a hot hatch M/T for a long time and repent all the long unpaved roads I have had to miss.

I am in Northern Florida near Tallahassee and I am new to this region. I am determined to do most of my maintenance on this car on my own. I have never even changed the oil of a car before. I just finished my running-in period as per spec driving and now at 1100 mi. I want to change my oil at 1500mi and I am prepped with all the tools. I do not have a place to change the oil and am contemplating some parking lot. Is there any place anybody can suggest where I can rent some garage space / driveway for an hour. I am planning on using ramps for the change, but if the space can pitch me jack and couple jack stands, would be really helpful. Hoping to find help here. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum.

Why not take advantage of the free oil changes/service through Toyota care?

Google self serve garage in your area. Removing the skid plate is a pain. Get the RCI skid plate, it doesn't need to be removed for oil change

Welcome, and have fun learning to do your own maintenance. An occasional time out for a few deep breaths often helps.
