Wheels with -12 offset

Just a quick question on offset values. The wheels I want are here https://www.warn.com/truck/mounting-systems/semiHiddenKit.jsp#

Here are the wheels, they have -12 offset. What exactly would this look like? I want to stick with the OEM offset, will these wheels be very close to OEM?

Also are the stock tires 17”?

 

Here are the stock wheels I have. Looks like these are 15 mm offset.

So I’m just trying to visualize if the tires would stick out with the new rims?

Never mind I found an offset visualizer. Looks like they would stick out 1.06” more than stock.

 

A 9” wide wheel with -12 offset will sit the tire further outside the wheel well.

 

Would I need to get new tires with those wheels given that I have the 270/70/17 ? The stock wheels are 7.5”, the wheels I want are 9”

 

No you wouldn't need to get new tires.

 

Are you lifted? These are an aggressive offset and will rub if not lifted adequately.

 

Not lifted, just stock and I don’t plan on a lift anytime soon.

Is the key to find a wheel with the same offset as the factory?

 

Stock I would not do more than Zero offset. The more negative offset the more the wheel is gonna stick out, backspacing also plays into this.

I went from -12mm to the TRD SEMA wheels and am very happy.
