Does anyone have a part # or know is it possible to obtain the volume button in black alone without the entire trim? I don’t want the trim piece as I wrapped mine, but the silver button is such an eye sore!

    Anyone? Bueller! Thanks in advance.

I think a pic would help your inquiry.

Okay.. I didn’t realize there was this many variants but basically it’s for a 2016 Limited.

Steering trim is silver, I’ve wrapped mine black. The few buttons on the steering wheel are all black except the volume control one. That is the one I want in black.

Honestly, I don't know if the wheels are any different. We just like pictures. ;)

You might be better of going to the parts department at a dealership.

Somebody on the forums recently replaced all their silver buttons with black ones. I can't remember who it was.

I changed mine on my previous SR5P from a TRDOR donor. The swap was very easy but you will have to remove the airbag and the left steering control to swap the volume button. I don't believe there is a part# for it but your best bet is to call the dealership and go from there.

The airbag removal and trim removal is easy - did it already once for when I wrapped the trim pieces.

I’ll do some more research but it seems like the button isn’t available as stand alone item I’d have to buy the entire trim section with button ($300-$400)… which is too steep.

Buy a junkyard steering wheel off a TRD-OR or Trail; those are black. Probably have to look for a donor that didn't have airbag deployment.

I have gotten a full set (left/right) on eBay for $80. Patience is key:thumbsup:
