I just acquired a new 2000 SR5 and the Daylight Running Lights won't shut off unless I unplug the battery. The circuit for them must've been moved because the 7.5A fuse that runs them won't shut them off when I remove it. Is there an individual wire that goes up to the headlights that runs them on low power, or some kind of step-down transformer that I can yank out? I'm okay with completely disabling them, I just can't have them on when the truck is parked.

It should be as simple as cutting one of the wires that go into the bulb harness. One wire has a constant power when the vehicle is one. I’d get a meter, test each one until you find the constant

    Just guessing however....
