IMG_0328.jpg Added these black plastic trim pieces. I bought this car used and it had the ugliest suction cup looking stains that I could not get rid of. There is still some stains on the dash above the trim pieces, but overall I am happy with the results. I’m thinking I have to black out my interior now.

That dash plastic is so brittle, I swear it scratches if you look at it for too long. Although I ve read, that those are not really marks but the dash has actually 'flattened'from where the suction cups were put. That's why no cleaner can remove them.

Looks great! I might have missed it, but which Eibach set up did you use and how high did you go?

Thank you! I installed the Eibach Stage 2 kit. It’s 2.5” in the front and 1” in the rear.

No. I think the kit is actually advertised as a 2/1 kit but after I installed it I was at 3” up front and it felt nose high. So I adjusted them down in the front to about 2.5”.

The harness in the link is for 2022- Current DRL.

The 2014 to 2020 is a different harness that’s pictured below in the link.

Do your OEM headlights use the same bulb for DRL and hi beam? If so, I don't think this will work for you. This is for applications with a dedicated DRL bulb as far as I know.
    Hope that helps.

It'll all make sense when you have the t-harness in your hands and you open the hood.
You'll not mess with the Hi/Lo beam connector. You'll only unplug the DRL. Now would be the time to replace the halogen DRL with the LED version like the DD HP48 bulb. The t-harness then goes "in-line" between the OEM DRL harness and the DRL bulb. I removed a small section of the tape on the factory DRL loom so that my t-harness would run "straight". That's probably more of an aesthetic choice on my part.
After you do that, you'll have a ground wire to connect. There's a convenient ground location on the inner fender structure and the t-harness ground wire should be just the right length to run along your existing ground wiring (from other circuits) to the grounding bolt. You may want to use some wire ties but that's up to you (I used a couple). You may also want to unfasten your smog pump and move it back slightly to make it easier to access the grounding bolt, but it's probably not absolutely necessary, depending on the tools you have, your dexterity and your patience! :)
    Hope that helps.

Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you:

    The 4Runner FANNY PACK!

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBPYP87W?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details $99.99

    Passenger Side

    Drivers Side

Now, before you roast me with comments like "Why didn't you get a molle panel!?" Well, these are cheaper and I think I can hold more small items in them. Road side tool kit, (fix a flat, jumper cables, tow straps, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, ice scraper, knives, box cutter, zip ties, fuses, tire puncture kit, flares, poncho, flash light, screw drivers, hammer, pliers).

They fit over the rear windows with ease. They use a vacuum suction cup to attach to the window. No drilling or modifying anything! Easy Peasy. I loaded them both up with about 20 - 30 lbs worth of stuff (just to test) and even tugged on them both really hard. They stayed put.

PPF'd the unprotected areas on the rear bumper that got scratched to hell by the dog on my last 4runner, and PPF'd the front door handle cups to stop the inevitable finger nail sanding.

Installed some seat covers, very happy with the results. I was worried because it is a “universal” fit from Amazon but I would say it fit well, time will tell both I’m happy with it and it matches my middle console cover.IMG_0341.jpg

I thought about that also. I don't think it will effect it. The suction cups have a vacuum assist to them. The tighter I tighten the knob, the more secure they are - or seem to be.

If I'm driving along and it randomly falls off, I'll let the forum know!

Weird, I read that for 2021 all 4Runner trims where supposed to have LED headlights and fog lights. Did yours came with non LED headlights when you got it?

    Edit:
The first article I found was unclear, second one spells it out better:

LED headlights are standard on all trim levels for 2021 4Runner.

All trim levels come standard with LED fog lights.

There are only LED high beams on specific 2021 Toyota 4Runner trims. These include Limited, Nightshade and TRD Pro.
