Thanks! I bought the Eibach suspension for my wife’s birthday. She had no idea what it was! Lol. I had to explain my plans for her truck and she just rolled her eyes at me. Once I got the lift installed a few weeks ago she said “it needs bigger tires”. “Funny you should say that honey because they’re on their way!” She’s a pretty easy going lady and I love that about her!

I installed a JESBEN ambient light sensor. It doesn't control everything exactly as I'd like, but it's close enough.

What I'd prefer is that the illumination of all buttons to be determined by the ambient light, regardless of the light switch setting. However, I now get what I like with the headlights always on. The interior is so dark and it's so dark in my garage that I can hardly see anything until they're on. The courtesy lights don't help at all.

Eibach stage 2, load lifter kit, Maggie w/ OTT tune... Other stuff.
Shiftpower throttle response controller. So, far so good. Allows one to dial in exactly how sensitive the go peddle is via app. Also has a valet and lock out option. Bit cheaper than the other two big players in the market and really easy to use.

Swapped in a black FJ knob after shortening it considerably to clear the console trim panel.[/QUOTE]

How did you shorten that so nicely? I’m thinking of getting an FJ knob for my new ORP, don’t like that the shifter and trans knobs are so different.

Memory is fuzzy but after disassembly there was only one section that could take a big cut, think it was the bottom. Bandsaw and a Dremel to clear out space for the clips to go back in.

Thanks! That definitely helps. With that description, comparing your photo to a stock FJ knob pic I can see where you made the cut. Don’t have a bandsaw but can probably find a way to do this myself somehow.

That's the one I'm using right now. Had sprint booster on my taco. Like the custom settings on shift power better.

My fuel bill is a couple of Prius payments easy. All that crap on top doesn't help the mpg either.

I wonder a hitch mount setup with removal of roof basket would help little mpg for long trips?

For daily use would you try the spare 285/75R17 in stock location? Maybe with reduced air pressure? Haven't try a 285/75, so not sure.

Regardless, I fkn love that size, 285/75.:amen:

4Runner should have been a diesel, Toyota perfectly knows that we mod the crap out of these things

I simply love this bumper, great purchase. It is neat, it's minimalistic, and it's unbelievable that it is hpusing a heavy duty 12K winch

If you have a Prius as a daily, then that 4Runner needs to roll on 35s.

The Toyota Fortuner uses the 2.8 diesel engine. Think of it as a slightly inferior 4runner for the Asian markets. I owed one for a few years, and the engine was a gem. Frugal, torquey and brilliant drivability with controlled turbo lag. I had the manual.
The Innova/hycross minivan also has the same engine. Think of that as a slightly inferior Highlander, again for the Asian markets.
