Hi all. I know there are recommended lifting points at the front center and rear center of our 4Runners. I simply want to rotate my tires front to rear. Do I need to lift the entire front or rear at those recommended spots or can I simply lift one side at a time? The manual shows support positions for jack stands under the frame. Does anybody ever place a floor jack under the frame to lift one side only for tire change or rotation? Or should I just put the 4Runner on 4 jack stands for tire rotation? Thanks.

One side at a time works just fine and I usually jack from the frame and put jack stands under it.

I'll lift the whole rig off the ground and put jack stands under the frame and or rear axle .
