    I find AMAZON has a set for ~ $50.
I don't need all of the bulbs!
    Any better source ?
Upgrade lights to LED a good idea?

Lots with more in the works
The HVAC/climate control bulbs are probably THE most frustrating thing about the 4th gen 4runners. Poorly designed but work good when they actually work.

LEDs can be done but it isn't necessarily easy as find the correct bulbs that actually work can be a major pain. OEM type bulbs work but are boring and burn out, leaving the display looking like crap. They are also a strange voltage, which is why the LED swap can be frustrating and more work than it should be. There's a 12v swap you can do that involves adding wiring and it's a pain from my research. There's also a reverse polarity mod, making the the back black and the numbers/letters light up but it's difficult and there's not a ton of info on it.

Start reading thru this thread, it will help with finding LED bulbs that should work - Otherwise, you have to get OEM bulbs and that seems to take some digging to find them all.

Check Toyota's online site, parts.toyota.com. I had my maintenance log open by chance when I saw this thread so I can tell you I replaced my HVAC bulbs 3+ years and 71K miles ago and haven't had a problem since.
