New 4Runner Owner

Hello! I'm about to go pick up my new '23 ORP in Magnetic Grey this evening from one of the local dealers. The sticker was just above $51k and the dealer came down to $46.6k so I feel like I'm getting a pretty good deal. It has KDSS, Moonroof, and the ORP Premium package as the major options. I shopped this around and almost had a deal at another dealer for a Nautical Blue that I really liked the color, but they kept changing my financing numbers around and it made me think twice. That one didn't have KDSS and this grey one is a better deal overall.

I've never owned a 4Runner though I've always liked them. Also never owned a 4x4 though the area we live in now gets all 4 seasons so I'm looking forward to having it when I need it. I plan on adding the OEM step bars and black emblem overlays as my first two upgrades.

Is that a good deal on a new ORP? With the way car buying has been the last few years this is odd it seems to get anything off of sticker.

Thinking about getting a CAT shield but trying to figure out which one to get.

 

We just purchased a new ORP with moonroof and KDSS and the all weather mats for 46k and the msrp was like 51k so there are some deals at the moment.

 

Where did you purchase yours from? It sounds like we got the same deal.

 

So the sticker says mine came with the all weather liners and the cargo tray in the same line for $309. Is the cargo tray the liner for the cargo area or the slide out? I don’t have the slide out. This 4R was in their showroom.

And I believe the mats and cargo liner was also known as the "wilderness package" and it isn't the slide out cargo tray.
Odd thing about mine is the fog lights don't work. I can hear the relay click and the green dash light indicator comes on but no fog lights turn on!
Already need a trip back to dealer or to pull the fender liners in the front to make sure all is plugged in LOL

Yeah, the picture on Toyota's website is misleading for the Cargo Tray. Mine didn't say Wilderness Package for those.

I’m looking at tires as well as these Bridgestone Duellers won’t cut it for winter driving. I’m looking between two Goodyear tires, the Wrangler All Terrain with Kevlar, the Duratrac, and the Nitto Terra Grappler G2. My wife likes the price point the Nitto tires are at of course, lol.

Welcome ! I just recently joind also a few weeks ago/ I got mine same year same model also 4w ug pacakge ,360 birds eye view ,with a sunroof + tint with a brow & remote start for 50K. Sticker price with all those extras was like 55K . I got a good eal bc of my boy he works at a Tiyota dealer i got it for employee price. He loves his mama ! Sounds you got a good deal. My son drove it off the lot had 25 miles. I dont divr much work is very close ive put on about 900 miles in 2 months

If you get Duratracs, expect road noise. That gets louder as they wear.

 

Where are you located? I got offered $49,795 for a new 23' ORP in SoCal, but seemed still high to me.
