With that rear wiper, no roll down rear window. Oh well, not planning on buying another one for 20+ years.

Take a look at the very first post of this thread. We had this information more than 2 years ago now.

The only thing that has been sussed out a bit more since then is what the hybrid system will look like. It will be the same iForce Max found in the Tacoma with 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque! And it might only be available on Offroad trims and above.

 

10 dollars a gallon would be 2.62 per liter...your math sucks

I only saw it hit 222.9 last year , I'm in kelowna but again your a Canadian so expect a way higher price in 20 years then 20 a gallon lol .

 

Honestly in 20 years you probably won't be using gasoline with a petroleum base. It will probably be some sort of carbon capture

I haven't heard anything juicy lately.

But if we have a year left until the 6th gen comes out, there should be some test mules out on the road here shortly. Maybe we start seeing some spy shots of those in the next few months.

 

Hypothetically speaking, what shock set up do people think the 6th Gen TRD Pro will get? Same Fox shocks? back to Bilstein? something new like OME?

 

The new Taco PRO is getting Fox, so I'd bet on the 4Runner getting the same.

 

I should probably test drive a TRD Pro to see how those Fox shocks feel to standard shocks. It seems jury is split on if they are liked or not and many recommend better aftermarket shocks..

if I get a 6th Gen most likely will be a limited or Pro. Although a SR5 would be tempting too. I kinda like the idea though of not having to manually change back into and out of 4WD but not fan of the Limited tires, wheels and all the silver/chrome on it

It's not that the Fox shocks are bad. They're actually quite nice.

The argument is more along the lines that for the money you would spend on them, you could purchase shocks that are a lot beefier with the ability to adjust valving to suit your ride preferences, rebuild, adjust height, and keep cooler with reservoirs.

Now if you want to get a Pro for other reasons, then get a Pro. But if the Pro shocks are a big selling point for you, you'd be much better off with an SR5 and a set of Kings, Fox Factory race series shocks, Bilstein 8112/8100, ect.....
