The panic button on my key fob stopped working, Put a new battery in the key fob last night. The doors will try to lock and unlock by themselves. On the head unit sometimes the apps will go grey wondering if someone can hack into the head unit or the bluetooth. Has anyone else had these problems before

Welcome. Don't really think someone has hacked into anything. Bluetooth doesn't really let you get into system files even if you accidentally said yes to connecting a device you didn't know.

I think it's just something with the software of the head unit. I would see if there's an update.

The key i think is unfortunately a different problem at the same time. If it's only one of your keys, then it's that specific key. If both keys, then it's the receiver more than likely.

Obviously just spitballing with the info given.

Did you happen to notice any corrosion built up inside of the circuit board of the fob/remote when apart. I have seen one with minor corrosion cause certain buttons to cease functioning.

Gonna get a bit tricky from this point on. From getting new parts to test those theories. Just taking it somewhere first may be the less expensive bet. You can pop open the key and see if cleaning helps.

Of course, if you plan on replacing these parts down the road.......just look into doing it now. Lol. Might be the time to weigh the options.
