Ok so I feel like I've searched and searched for a definitive paint code for silver touch up paint for the front and rear valances for an off road package 4Runner but have come up empty. Does anyone know if there is an official Toyota silver that matches the valances or an aftermarket color that is "close enough"?

I don't think any paint is going to sheen correctly. I'd say paint it black or buy a black one

    Oooh look, another mod.....
I've used TouchUp Direct for paint pens for the last three vehicles that I've owned. The color match is spot on, and they have great prices.

The best solution is to wheel it so hard that touch up paint won’t work, and wear it like a badge of honor until you can throw a winch or something up there. :D

Maybe someone with a silver OR can chime in as to how close the valance color matches their body color.

Since your truck is black, I agree with note above to paint it black. I couldn’t get all the clips off mine to do it, so I just masked the whole front of the truck with a sheet of clear plastic and masking tape. Before doing that, I did drive the front of the truck up on 7” ramps. Then cleaned it good, (you’ll probably need to fill in any deep grooves), removed license plate holder, and used a Plasti-dip can to paint it. This was temporary for me so I don’t care how it turned out, but it actually turned out pretty good. I’ve never painted anything on a car or truck before, so I’m sure I have a pretty crappy technique. I let the first coat dry for a hour, then did a second coat which made the finish look much better. When I went to a couple of the 4Runner meet ups, folks just thought I bought a black one and put it on. For my back one, I did take the whole bumper off and removed the valence to paint it.

Mine is actually nautical blue. I'm one of the odd ducks that's likes the silver hence my desire to find a silver touch-up that is a good match.

I tore part of the rear valance off a couple weekends ago wheeling and already bought a used silver one which needs a bit of touch-up in addition to the front (stone chips).

I have a silver ORP and obviously the silver valence. Personally up close I think it’s the same color. Same on the rear bumper. I think if you got a toyota silver OEM touch up it would be darn close.

Hard to tell in this pic very sunny day here after a wash. In the pic the valence looks maybe a little darker than rest. But in person looks so close.

the pic of front end is right in front of garage door probably not best lighting

The valance appears a lot darker on my end - but there’s a big rabbit hole to go down when it comes to color reproduction and photos.

Love the matte black on the black vehicle. Changes it up some! I am leaning more and more towards plastidip since I want to get a low pro bumper eventually.
