I have a 2000 4Runner and have a problem. The tailgate window started giving me problems lately so I took it apart to find that the window had separated from the regulator. The glass is OK, but my problem is the glass became separated from the rails that look to be glued onto the window (and then fit into a channel on each side of the regulator). Any ideas on what to buy to fix that? The rails themselves seem OK, but I either need to get new ones (what part to buy?) or figure out how to glue them back on like they were before. Any ideas? Thanks.

Tacoma whip, 99 console box, tru trac., steering wheel, PWMS and HVAC control out of a 99.
Glass replacement required, I've never come across an adhesive that will hold.

I've used this in the past for other applications.
I would not be afraid to try it in your application.
This stuff is tough and strong.
Just be sure to follow directions and clean both surfaces thoroughly.
It takes 7 days for a full cure.
Just install the glass and roll the window up for 7 days.
