Tacoma Guy Gone 4Runner

Hey guys! New member here. Originally I had a 2016 Tacoma 4wd that I built up but ended up having to sell it a few years back for financial reasons.



After a few years without a toy, I recently purchased this beauty! It’s a 2006 4Runner Sport 4wd.




Got it for $10,500 with only 168k on the engine! Great condition. Had to replace the AC actuator and a blown sub but other than that she runs like a dream and rides smooth.

Swapped out the OEM wheels for some ION Type 171’s in a 17x9 0mm set up.
I also purchased some Hankook Pathfinder AT’s in a 265/70/17.



Eventually will lift her but taking it slow and focusing on making sure all the key components and mechanicals are in good working order first.

I’m excited to be back in the Toyota family and have always had an affinity for older models so glad to have one of my own now!

 

Congratulations. Your thread title confused me, though. I thought you sold your 4R to get a Tacoma.

Welcome. I kept my Tacoma and got a 4Runner. My 4Runner is just a road dog though.
