    I need a front bumper....any suggestions.

    I also need to get rid of my 3 in hockey puck body lift spacers(could crack the unibody).
    Suggestions on 3-4 inch lift? I was told go all suspension. Thoughts?

    Thanks Brett. So go with 1in body 2-3 in suspension?
    Someone told me no body lift....3-4 in suspension.
    All the gear shifts are shorter because of the lift, so what total suspension...3-4 in would you recommend?
    I just remembered...talked with a UPS guy and his 90's Toyota truck has a 1in body and he's had no problems.
    I need help...that's all.
    thanks...Brian

    My suspension knowledge is limited with the 1st gen 4Runner. So I'm not much help there. Generally speaking, a 3" lift is usually enough. If you are going off road in the mountains or any off camber obstacles, a high center of gravity is usually not desirable, so most people do a moderate lift.

    Check out this thread on T4R.org. Some of these guys wrote the book on lifting and wheeling the early 4Runners.

    Thanks gents....keeping it classic.
    So I was having weak, very spongy brakes....really sketchy. A guy told to take SEAFOAM spray and spray the SEAFOAM(I did a lot) down the brake booster lines into the brake booster....the black junk that came out was awful. I put the line upward to let it drain into the booster for awhile, but realized it needed to be running for suction. But the pedal got as hard as a brick again. IT WORKED

    Thanks gents. I trailed it from Missouri(aka...misery, home of Kathy Bates...didn't she play in that movie?). I bought it for.....ya know...the price...lol!
    I need to get rid of the 3 in hockey pucks before body damage occurs.

    Tech tip of the day boys;
    My brakes were extremely spongy....hard then....WHOA! BAAAAAD! So guy told me to flush the brake booster out with spray SEAFOAM and it worked.....hard as a deers antler in rust. I live in wonderful PA....not wonderful. Im getting a magna flow cat on today....welded....this state hates its people's freedoms more than aome....I drive it and the long tube headers and straight pipe and muffler put off a lovely smell of exhaust.....but NOOOO....global warming. 1975 catalytic converters was the start of that.

    More on my truck. Someone took care of it....they bedlined inside and under....clear up to the fire wall and along side behind the interior panels. Underneath, thick....not body rust, but I am going to put a wax product on it as they can dry out...inside and underneath.
    It has 374k+ on it....5spd....3 in body...33x12.5x15 Patagonia. The interior is in rough shape, but that is later cosmetic....I'll get through winter first....summer time...dig in time.
    TTYL...o yeah....it has a 22re...
