New to me and new to 4runners

    Nothing....yet.
    I have been on TW for years and I just got myself a 4runner so figured I'd get a post going. Here is my beat up 99 limited 4x4 v6, the engine runs great and mechanically seems to be in good shape! No rust on the frame. My plan here is to make this a wheeling vehicle, I will start with a small lift and some tires and go from there. Now the bumper and the rear door got a little smashed so i will be looking for a rear door asap, ill live with the bumper because i will be getting high clearance ones here soon. Also taking the running boards off if anyone wants them as i cant post in the marketplace for 30 days.20230910_171435.jpg 20230910_171457.jpg

    I'm still looking into the mods but for the time being I have a buddy thatll sell me an fj suspension and a set of rims with fairly used 33" tires for a good price and if im correct that suspension will give me I think its a 2" lift? I also just ordered a costal offroad front bumper and I think I have enough steel to make a simple rear bumper and maybe rock sliders. Once I do all thit I'll start taking it out and getting a feel for it. Otherwise idk too many mods for the 4runners yet.

    I wouldn't bother with used, just get yourself suspension that is aimed towards your needs.
