scoop front piece method of removal

2012 blue 4runner

How do you remove the scoop front piece after removing the hood liner and four mounting nuts? There is an orange plastic clip that can be released, but there are two blue clips that might be holding it in place or the large, center rear pin and clip. How do you remove the hood scoop front section without damaging anything?

A guy in a similar video has an easier time of it because he uses smaller needle nose pliers.
