Hi all, new to this forum. I have a 1999 4Runner with 150,000 miles. I have not done any tune ups to date and have had very minimal maintenance needed. What work is recommended between the 90,000, 100,000 and 150,000 mile tune ups? Thanks in advance. I have contacted a shop for an estimate but want to ensure I'm getting a comprehensive list of work that is actually needed.

There is no such thing as a "tune up" on modern cars. Everything is computer controlled.

    There are maintenance items.

Plugs and wires (mine went to poop at 150k)
    Throttle body cleaning.
    MAF cleaning
T-Belt replacement with water pump, tensioner and pulleys and coolant replacement.
    Air Filter
    Lube chassis (drive shaft, etc)
    Replace Diff fluid.
Replace brake fluid and bleeding all brakes.

I recommend only TOYOTA parts. They are the cheapest per mile.
