    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
    Try round ones. :D:D
    Kidding!

Lots of people seem to like bf Goodrich KO2’s in stock tire size.

Yea what he said. Costco and 4 Wheel Parts often run sales on the BFGs too.

Tirebuyer.com has fantastic prices. Look into the Falken Wildpeaks in 275. They'll fit with no lift.

I had the Wildpeaks stock size (265/70-17) on my ‘18 TRD OR and really loved the aggressive look. They are great tires for the price point. However, I had a balance issue with a couple sets. In addition I found not all shoe sizes are created equal. The exact same size can have different dimensions throughout the brands. The aggressive stance comes at a bit of cost in minor rubbing when in reverse in full lock position. The Wildpeaks are almost a full inch wider in footprint than the Toyo Open Country AT IIs I finally settled on. The Toyos are not “as aggressive” as the Wildpeaks but are plenty aggressive enough to give a good stance. I will defer to other responders about their experiences with bigger tires. I am not a fan of deviating from stock sizes because of the speedometer and odometer errors that will result. Depends what you want to live with. I would carefully check the specs of the different tires you are considering as to section width, sidewall height, etc. Weight is an issue too. The Toyos are 6 pounds lighter per tire (stock size vs stock size of Wildpeaks) and therefore my mileage did improve due to the decreased rolling resistance (an inch less on the ground) and the lighter weight. Bottom line I would stick to stock sizes as regarding circumference and diameter (which determine revolutions per mile) to keep the speedometer and odometer errors out of the equation. If that doesn’t bother you then the sky is the limit on choices.
Added note—after 1,000 miles with the Toyos I am extremely happy with the smooth, quiet ride. The mileage is better by about 1 mpg. They balanced great too. The BFG KO 2s seem to be the gold standard but are nearly twice the price. The Nitto Grappler series is popular too. Toyo is the parent company of Nitto for what that is worth.
Tirebuyer.com is my vendor of choice. Great customer service, prices, etc. Veterans get 7% discount too. Good luck on your search and final choice.

We went with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers for our latest build. We've only had them on for around 4,000 miles but are very pleased with their performance. On snow and ice they're the best AT we've ever had, mud too. :) The most surprising thing is how quiet they are on the road. Many believe these tires are going dominate the market much like the BFG KO2s have in the past.

Love mine. TBH I bought them more for the "look" but have been pleasantly surprised by their performance in all conditions and like @WanderlostOverland said, they are super quiet!

I have the bf goodrich k02s on mine. I have only had them for about 10000 miles but the little ice and snow we get they handle well.
