Hey all, i just wanted to know if these king shocks front: 25001-243a rear: 2500-125 will fit on a v8 4th gen. The front is described as a 2010+ with kdss but tbh i cant see why they wouldnt work. Thanks

Yes it can work, with caveats. The rears will bolt up no problem. The fronts you will have to modify if youre set on using these Kings. The front lower strut bushing is wider than the 4th gen LCA mount... So you either have to shave down the bushing somehow or widen the mount. Your choice

Is it also possible to install the 5th gen LCA to avoid widening the LCA mount? I believe the camber bolts are bigger on the 5th gen, so would I need to widen something else on the 4th gen to make it all fit this way?

Lol anything is possible with enough will power, patience, or money...

But really, couldnt say specifically, as the other thing to check is that the LBJ mount is or isnt the same for 4th and 5th gen. That would need checking, and like you mention the body side camber bolt mounts would probably need to be measured for width. I dont have those on hand but maybe someone else can chime in

Have you looked at prices of the cam bolts? Massive scope creep. Just shave the bushings down (a few minutes per bushing with a flap disc) or order a replacement set of 4th gen bushings from King.

Thanks all! I agree, it is scope creep and you guys have helped bring me back to reality. I had head that the 5th gen LCA are a bit beefier and essentially bolt on, aside from the cam bolts. But, it seems flap disc it is for me. Appreciate the help!
