Rear Bumper Guard Question/Help

2017 4 Runner Limited

Has anyone installed one of these guards on a 5th gen 4runner? If so do you have a photo of the install?

Some more info, I got this off ebay. The seller assured me it would fit a 2017 Limited, I was very specific with my application. Once it arrived I found out the brackets to mount it to the underside would need to be modified. I informed the seller and they offered a partial refund so I accepted and found someone to mod the brackets. Today when I went to place the guard in place I realized the brackets are set too close, if I swap sides then they are too wide. My only other thought is I'm placing the brackets in the wrong spot, but I doubt that because the mounting holes line up just fine.

Any help or guidance from the group would be appreciated. Thanks.
