Wow the Dealer adjustment markup on the Solar Octane TRD Pros just went up another 10-15 grand! WTF? Terra looks like spoiled tomato paste.

 

Lol, I like it more than the solar octane. I guess it’s all pretty subjective. I honestly like every 4Runner color (except for Lime)

 

God damn thats gorgeous! One of my favorite colors yet. Its right up there with cement and quicksand

No turn signals on mirrors?

Could this be an older model thats wrapped or repainted?

This is an opinion I share. Solar Octane and Lime Rush are both very cool colors but not for my vehicles.

They think the color is red?!? Holy shit, there’s nothing red about it.

 

Looks like Toyota slowly going to more manly colors back.

In real life Solar Octane is a vivid Reddish orange, more Red than orange and appears very Red in some light. And it is an amazingly beautiful Coral color in other light. Listen to people who own the car in this color (seems fairly obvious.) I hope to some day.

SO is my favorite color by far followed by Voodoo Blue and Lime Rush. For me, an SUV is like a sports car and should wear bright colors. Staid 4 door sedans look great in muted colors...grays, silvers, black etc.

A stunning SO Sequoia...

 

Be quiet and listen to the owners about the color, that it's orange and not red?
Stretch them headlights all the way to the door, I say

 

Compare and contrast...the SO Sequoia looks like a Ferrari SUV

 

Meh, Terra Cotta (aka Terra Caca) looks like a polished turd or an old clay pot.

I’ll wait to pass final judgement until I see it in person. I didn’t like Lunar Rock until I saw it in person and love that color. I liked Lime Rush until I saw it in person and it was just meh. Solar Octane looked red in pictures and just looks stunning in person.

 

If your dog released a color like that, you'd take him to the Vet.

 

The new Sequoia I saw was Navy Blue and the rims were two toned with polished accents. But, like I’m going to own something like that I couldn’t even spell Sequoia without cheating.

 

The freaking computer screen was like a 13 inch.

 

That reminds me of a very common color that Toyota offered in the 80’s. I like it

 

I love the lime rush and solar octane. Me being color blind, testa cotta is just brown and not my taste. Bold colors stick out to me. Even my Barcelona is RED red. But if i want a different color is just cheaper to wrap or dip mine. Than buy a new one of the exact same truck.

Of course this is just opinions

 

Yes I can see a work truck being a neutral color, hearses, and conservative sedans especially if clients are going to see it. No need to be flashy. But for recreational fun stuff, bright colors like sports cars are very cool. That's the way trucks used to be: yellow, red, orange headed to the beach with the Beach Boys blasting! I was hoping the new color would look like this classic Porsche 356 "Terra" color. It's a lot more open and warm of a brown/orange.

 

I get the work /rec comparison. Makes sense.

But not many cars/trucks pull off colors like a Porsche. Lol. Like speed yellow or the baby blue they used to have.

 

Yes, the yellow I would have loved to see in a 4Runner is the Licht Gelb from Porsche, I just loved seeing these cars back in the day. And they are worth a fortune. The SO trucks from Toyota will bring big numbers one day too.

 

Pretty nice looking in this pearl yellow. No idea if this is paint or wrap. These days, probably a wrap.

 

The Lava Orange GT3 is pretty awesome as well, just more orange than the Solar Octane..but it looks great!
