I’m super new to the 4Runner world. I currently have a stock 2019 TRD OR and got excited and pre ordered new wheels that are 17x9 -12 and plan on going with 265/70 17 BFG KO2’s.

I was told “you will experience minor rubbing at full turn in which you can remove the front mud flaps and trim some of the plastic off on the lower front bumper with 265/70/17 to possibly clear away the rubbing.”

I don’t have plans on getting a lift at this time as I’m building it slowly.

Is there anything else I should be aware of or concerned about?

    I appreciate the feed back.

    Welcome to the forum!

Yes, you're definitely going to rub some plastic. Also look into the "fender liner mod", which somehow moves the inner fender liner forward in front of the tires.

Lift doesn't clear tires. It just hides rubbing.
