I have a 1993 4runner 4x4. I was wondering if anybody had an reviews or experience with a Denso fuel pump. I understand that manufactures such as Honda use Denso and Nissin while toyota uses Aisin. And many parts come factory from those companies. However when I look up a Denso fuel pump for my toyota it runs around $100 which is inexpensive which also makes me think is the quality not there? A toyota fuel pumps runs around $250 but I know that the quality of toyota parts are worth it. If you could please give me any info on Denso fuel pumps it would be helpful, thanks.

No personal experience with this exact situation, but Denso is a first class Japanese manufacturer and I wouldn't hesitate to use Denso. The Toyota version most likely is more expensive because it is branded instead of aftermarket.

I thought TOYOTA used Denso fuel pumps?

I put a Denso in my rig. No issues. Dealer markup can be quite large compared to the OEM supplier.

I just put in a Denso fuel pump from Amazon, $78.00. These are made in China. It definitely helped the pressure and especially the delivery through the new fuel filter :boom:to new injectors. Quality is good. Dropping the tank really SUCKS!:nuclear:
