I installed a set of RRW wheels, RR6-H -17x8.5x0, and Billet protection rings with black bolts. The tires are Mickey Thompson 285x70x17 AT. Front Wheel.jpg Truck RRW.jpg

I think Mickey Thompson bought the old Dick Cepek brand, didn't they? Cepek was all the rage in the 1980s. Excellent tires. I think some of them were bias ply.

Nice setup! I'm rocking the rrw rrv5. I had them for 4 years now and are still holding up great.

In 2000, Max-Trac Tire Co.Inc.dba Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, acquired the remaining assets of Dick Cepek after the business' bankruptcy. And in 2003, Cooper acquired both off-road brands when it bought Max-Trac Tire. This what I found out.

That makes sense. The m/t baja boss a/t looks very similar to the cooper rugged trek.

    Looks great!

I wonder if you can get those aluminum rings anodized in red and how it would look.

I think RRW seems them bare and black. I'm sure it would be easy enough to get them red. Probably not from RRW though.

Not the same wheels, but this will give you a pretty good idea of what the rings would look like in red:

Yes, this looks amazing! Anodized red will give it that little pop that Barcelona red has.
