How to open hood with broken latch?

    Ok, so i bought my runner for 500$
    It needs some work....
    Well, this weekend i went to change my plates and drive it home from my cousins house, and freakin tree fell on it across the hood...
    This is where someone tells me use the search engine.... i already did thank you lol

    Here is the problem... it broke the latch and now i can't get it open... what can i do to open the hood so i can replace it??

    We can't really see the damage to the hood. But if you plan to replace the hood, just cut a hole over the latch jimmy it open.

    Thanks for the reply lol, it seperated the support for the hood from the skin, meesed up the driver fender and broke the grill

    And I hope you guys cut up that tree for firewood, you know, make it pay for the damage to your ride.
