getting ready to do my first brake job on my 2019 SR5. done a lot of pads/rotors on other vehicles (Siennas,Camrys,Blazers etc) over the years. other than getting torque values correct, are there any particular things I need to know about our trucks? just glancing at it, looks pretty straight forward

I can give you an example of what NOT to do, lol. When you're doing the rear pads, and realize you need to rotate the rotor in order to line up the hole in the hub to back off the parking brake shoes, put the TRANSFER CASE in neutral. Do not step on the brake to shift the transmission into neutral, you'll blow the piston right out of the caliper.

Make sure your parking brake is off, you still might need to loosen the parking brake pads to get the rear rotors off.

I believe an M8x1.25 bolt to easily pop the rotors off the hub.

Fronts took me 1.5 hours, rears a little longer as I had to readjust the parking brake.
