Labor cost to install new rear coil springs on a 2022 trd off road?

I bought some 2" 400lbs bilstein coils for the rear of my 4runner. I have bilstein 5100 in front at 2.5" with stock coils and the 220lbs bilstein rear coils in rear with 5100s. After my bumper, recovery gear, rear hitch mounted winch, and gear I need to replace my rear coils with stronger ones . Plus I would like maybe a slight rear rake back. Any idea what the install replacement cost would be?

 

depends on the shops labor rate and what the book is for rear coils on a 4r.

guesstimate? 1 or 2 hours at a rate that can go between $75 to $130 per.

of course this doesn’t beat calling around for estimates.

 

It should be pretty reasonable. I changed the rear coils and rear shocks on mine and it took just under an hour. That's using a floor jack and jack stands.

 

You'd probably get charged for 2 hours.

 

Do it yourself. It’s pretty simple.

 

Along with others, I would estimate around 2 hours of shop time @ the prevailing rate in your area.
